I first heard about Trust Automation from my first year introduction to machining lecturer, Kris Hamann. I was interested right away in this small engineering company in San Luis Obispo producing innovative motion control solutions for a wide range of applications, from semiconductor positioning to counter UAV systems. Three years later, I was hired on as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. Working with Kris, who is also the head of mechanical engineering at Trust, I have significantly expanded my engineering skillset.
My projects consist of CAD design work and rapid prototyping, alongside working with defense contractors for requirement validation. I've worked summers at Trust and continued with part-time during the school year, allowing me to finish long-term projects and continue to be a part of this awesome team.
